Allergies ruining DIY lashes?

Is anyone else out there struggling with bad seasonal allergies right now?? My eyes have been watering non-stop for the past week and it is completely destroying my DIY individual sets. The inner and outer corners literally turn white and just slide off after one day because of the constant tears. I’m so sad because I love how they look but I can’t stop crying from the pollen lol. Do I just need to wait until winter or is there a way to make them survive watery eyes?? HELP!!

  • Take a non-drowsy antihistamine like Claritin an hour before you do your mapping, it helps stop the watering while you work. Also, make sure you are completely drying your eyes with a little handheld fan before you even touch the extensions. If your natural lashes are even slightly damp from tears when you apply them, they won't stick.

  • Aww babe I feel your pain so much, my allergies are awful this year too... I almost gave up on clusters completely until I realized the issue was just my adhesive. You honestly need a formula that is specifically designed to be water-resistant and has low fumes so it doesn't trigger more blinking... check out this professional lash glue because it is literally a lifesaver for sensitive, watery eyes. It locks in place instantly and tears don't break down the bond at all... my sets now stay perfect for weeks even when my allergies are acting up... definitely try switching to this one!
